Aluminum Window Installation

When it comes to combining durability with a clean, contemporary look, aluminum windows are a top choice. Our professional aluminum window installation services are designed for homeowners, builders, and property managers who demand high performance, low maintenance, and lasting value.

Aluminum windows are known for their slim profiles, structural strength, and sleek aesthetics. Ideal for both modern homes and commercial buildings, they provide excellent weather resistance, require minimal upkeep, and offer a streamlined, industrial look that enhances any space.

1. Check the Measurements

To get started, first double-check that the measurements of your window match the space you have in the wall to install it. Make sure you check both the length and height. At this stage, pre-drill holes into the top, middle, and bottom of each reveal – this will make it easier when you come to attach the window to the wall.

2. Positioning and Levelling

Once you’re confident that your window is the right size, it’s time to get it into place. You’ll probably need at least two other people on the inside and outside of the building to help you with this. Once the window is in position, use a spirit level on the window ledge to check that it’s flat and adjust as needed. One helpful tip is to use packers to adjust the level rather than completely removing and reinserting the window.

3. Make Sure it’s Flush

Once the window is level, make sure it is flush against the inner wall. Place a set square against the wall and then push from either the inside or outside until the window fits flush with the wall. Now the window is in the correct position to be attached.

4.Attach the First Side

Using the holes you drilled in the reveal, drill in three screws so that one side of the window is fully attached to the wall. Use the set square to ensure the window stays flush with the wall as you do this. Once one side is in place, you shouldn’t need extra support to hold up the window.

5. Onto the Second Side

You can attach the second side of the window in the same way you did the first. Before drilling in the screws, check for gaps between the window and the wall. If gaps are present, fill them with packers before you start drilling. Packers can be gently tapped into the gap using a hammer.

Final Touches

Once all sides of the reveal are attached to the wall, check and pack any remaining gaps. Remember to snap off the ends of any packers you use so that they are invisible. Once the aluminium window is fully installed, give it a clean and your work is complete.
